76 Wooster St. (SoHo)

Since 1995, the firm has worked with the owner and tenants of 76 Wooster Street in Soho, helping them repurpose, enhance, and improve the value of their commercial spaces while maintaining the building’s historic façade in an ever changing neighborhood.

MCBG has overseen numerous Engineering and Architectural projects on this property, including the creation of a restaurant in the cellar and first floor, the addition of an art gallery on the upper floors, and the design and implementation of HVAC, Sprinkler, and fire protection systems. MCBG has also served as applicant of record with both the Department of Buildings for major alterations and with the Landmark Preservation Commission, as well as secured a liquor license from the New York State Liquor Authority.
